Do I have to buy the hardware up front?+

No. Clover hardware is typically leased monthly through your merchant account, but you can also buy outright if you prefer. Both options are quoted based on the specific model and your transaction profile.

What's included in the monthly hardware fee?+

The device itself, Clover software OS, free updates, dashboard access, and basic Clover app access. Some industry-specific apps (Clover for Restaurants, for example) carry an additional software fee — we quote everything line by line.

Can I keep my existing terminal?+

If you have a recent, unlocked, PCI-current terminal, we can re-deploy it. If it's locked to your current processor or PCI-expired, we ship Clover hardware programmed to SavPay.

How fast can I get a Clover terminal?+

Most merchants are approved within 24 hours and have the terminal shipped + activated within 72 hours. We pre-program everything in Montréal before it leaves our office.

What if Clover isn't right for my business?+

We'll tell you. About 1 in 4 merchants we talk to is better served by Moneris or Nuvei instead. We get paid the same either way, so there's no incentive to push Clover when it isn't the right fit.
