Agreement Overview

Welcome to SavPay. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our payment processing services and website. By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

SavPay is operated by an affiliate of 9499-8390 Quebec Inc., an authorized partner working with Fiserv Inc and Nuvei Corporation, providing secure payment processing solutions to Canadian businesses.

Payment Processing Services

Service Description

SavPay provides payment processing services including but not limited to:

  • Credit and debit card processing
  • Point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Online payment gateways
  • Mobile payment solutions
  • Merchant account services

Merchant Requirements

To use our services, merchants must:

  • Be a legitimate business operating in Canada
  • Provide accurate business and contact information
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain acceptable credit and business standing
  • Process transactions in accordance with card network rules
Fees and Pricing

Processing fees and pricing terms are outlined in your merchant agreement. Standard fees may include:

  • Transaction processing fees
  • Monthly service fees
  • Equipment rental or purchase fees
  • Chargeback and dispute fees

All fees are clearly disclosed before service activation. We pride ourselves on transparent pricing with no hidden charges.

Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Processing fraudulent or unauthorized transactions
  • Money laundering or terrorist financing
  • Processing payments for illegal goods or services
  • Excessive chargebacks or refunds
  • Misrepresenting business information
  • Violating card network rules and regulations
Security and Liability

Data Security

SavPay maintains PCI DSS compliance and implements industry-standard security measures to protect payment data and merchant information.

Limitation of Liability

SavPay's liability is limited to direct damages and shall not exceed the fees paid by the merchant in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. SavPay may terminate immediately for breach of terms, excessive risk, or regulatory requirements.

Upon termination, all outstanding obligations remain in effect, including chargeback liability and equipment return requirements.
